Title
Speech-Language Pathologist

Schedule
1.0 FTE, exact shift details depending on scheduling needs. Pediatric clinic is open 8 am to 6 pm M-F.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- CCC-SLP license required by the State of Alaska.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Experience with pediatrics and outpatient services required.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning for patients requiring Speech-Language Pathology services.
- Implement and modify therapy plans based on patient response to optimize outcomes.
- Document patient encounters, including diagnoses, treatment plans, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and self-care strategies.
- Assist in program development and quality improvement initiatives.

Compliance / Notes
Flu vaccine required.
Background checks and drug screens may be required.
Position is a covered job in accordance with the Indian Child Protection Act.
