Overview Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) – a global consulting firm with more than 10,000 professionals in over 40 countries – invites applications for a Senior Associate in the Operations Group, Transformation Services within the Private Equity Performance Improvement practice.

The role focuses on delivering large, complex client engagements for private equity firms, helping portfolio companies identify, design, and implement high‑impact performance improvement initiatives that enhance EBITDA and cash flow. Responsibilities Structure performance improvement plans and manage projects through completion. Identify opportunities to reduce costs across business units, sales, support staffing, and efficiency of back‑office functions. Synthesize insights from data and stakeholder input to enhance operating efficiencies. Lead program implementation to reduce cost structures, including workforce reductions and process changes. Develop findings and present strategic recommendations. Hands‑on participation in projects involving margin management, pricing, product rationalization, sales & operations planning, sourcing, supply chain, organizational effectiveness, non‑labor cost efficiency, process improvement, KPIs, SG&A cost reduction, working capital and cash management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 4–7 years of professional industry or consulting experience in operating‑expense cost‑reduction programs. Depth in a specific industry vertical (e.g., industrial, business services, distribution, consumer products or retail) is a plus.
