Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop individualized treatment plans for clients experiencing addiction challenges, ensuring approaches are tailored to meet each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a safe environment for participants to share experiences and support each other in their recovery process.

• Continuously assess and evaluate client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes and evolving needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services to clients, employing therapeutic techniques to manage acute situations and stabilize individuals in distress.

• Educate clients about addiction, fostering an understanding of its effects and equipping them with skills to manage their recovery proactively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults and families who are navigating the complexities of addiction and its impacts on mental health and interpersonal relationships. With a focus on evidence-based practices, you will encourage clients to explore their emotions, beliefs, and behaviors related to addiction and mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology , or a related mental health discipline is required.
\n
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
\n
• Familiarity with community mental health resources to better guide clients in their recovery journey.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective documentation and client interaction.
\n
• Strong ability to build rapport with clients, creating a trusting therapeutic relationship that fosters healing.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in mental health counseling, specifically dealing with addiction and recovery processes.

• Demonstrated leadership qualities in group settings and the ability to facilitate discussions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
