Cost Engineer

Hiring: Cost Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cost Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan and execute cost takeoffs, reconcile construction contractor costs, and perform detailed Excel analyses. You will also be responsible for developing Excel spreadsheets to support cost engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform cost takeoffs for construction projects.
• Reconcile construction contractor costs effectively.
• Conduct detailed analyses using Excel.
• Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets for cost management.
• Engage in change order and change order negotiation processes.

Essential Skills

• 2-5+ years of experience in construction or construction management.
• Proficiency in change order negotiation.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) preferred.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam and AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is advantageous.

Work Environment

The position is 100 percent in-office at Hillview Reservoir.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
