Manager, UH Imaging Services & Systems – University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. Experience and Education Bachelor's degree and Ten (10) years progressively responsible, related experience, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity. Candidates without the preferred degree but with significant additional related experience may be considered. Job Duties Contribute to strategic and operational planning, coordination and goal setting in collaboration with hospital and ambulatory administration, Imaging Services Leadership, Department of Radiology Administration, and University Leadership. Monitor, report and manage Imaging Services employee productivity and access to Imaging and Radiology. Recruit, manage, develop and motivate Imaging Services supervisors and employees to maximize performance and employee satisfaction. Review, implement, monitor, and improve Imaging Services quality, performance and safety. Contribute to the development, implementation and management of plans to start new services and grow existing service volumes. Develop, monitor, report and manage operating and capital budgets emphasizing comprehensive equipment and facility planning and ongoing expense reduction. Develop, communicate, monitor and enforce policies, procedures, protocols, pathways, schedules, and other work processes. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accrediting standards. Participate in the development, implementation and management of information systems processing images, schedules, business and financial data, and operational information, collaboratively with administrative, IR, financial, admitting and HIM staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to contribute to strategic and operational planning, coordination and goal setting in collaboration with hospital leadership. Ability to recruit, manage, develop and motivate Radiology leaders and employees to maximize performance and employee satisfaction. Ability to respond to and interact with all stakeholders with the PACT standards. Ability to monitor, report and improve Imaging quality, performance and safety, and associated technical and service indicators. Change agent attitude that includes flexibility and adaptability to perform in a high volume facility. Ability to build high-functioning teams that work in tandem within interdepartmental modalities. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in a hospital or hospital clinic environment.
