We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code. As a Technical Recruiter at Cursor, you’ll be a key driver of our company growth by identifying, engaging, and hiring top technical talent. You will partner closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to understand our hiring needs, design effective recruiting strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. What You’ll Do Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback management, and offer negotiations. Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute strategic hiring plans. Proactively identify passive candidates through creative sourcing strategies and talent mapping. Ensure a world-class candidate experience through every stage of the process. Track key recruiting metrics to drive continual process optimization. Partner with People Operations and cross-functional teams to support headcount planning and employer branding initiatives. Represent Cursor at recruiting events and in the broader tech community. Who You Are 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally at a high-growth and talent dense high growth startup. Deep understanding of technical skills, market trends, and the unique challenges of hiring top engineering and product talent. Proven ability to build strong, consultative partnerships with hiring managers and senior leadership. Excellent communication, organization, and candidate assessment skills. Highly driven, self-starter with a data-driven, results-oriented mindset. Comfortable working in an incredibly fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment. Bonus Points Experience recruiting for roles in AI, developer tools, or cybersecurity. Previous experience with employer branding or diversity recruiting initiatives.
