Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical exams and comprehensive analysis of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons in strategizing and executing tailored surgical treatment plans
• Offer support during surgery, including room preparations, patient positioning, and instrument handoffs
• Provide exemplary pre- and post-operative care, involving medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical concentration is highly preferred

Certification Details

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant must be obtained
