Consumer Finance Associate Mid to Senior Level

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level Consumer Finance Associate for their Miami, FL office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries. Duties Advise clients on financial services regulatory and compliance matters. Handle issues related to mortgage lending, consumer finance, and commercial finance. Work with alternative lending products and FinTech structures. Assist with state licensing and compliance with financial services laws. Engage in legal research, analysis, and writing. Requirements 3 to 6 years of experience in financial services regulatory and compliance. Knowledge of TILA, RESPA, UDAAP/UDAP, HMDA, FCRA, and FDCPA. Experience with enforcement, money services businesses, and payment systems is a plus. Strong academic background and attention to detail. Commitment to client service and teamwork. Admission to or eligibility for admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills. Proactive and diligent work ethic. Strong commitment to client service.
