- Operates the letter processing machine, which includes inserting documents correctly, loading appropriate envelopes, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Process mail returned by the United Postal Service. This includes documenting the type of mail and reason for the return in the claimant's electronic folder.
- Make phone calls to vendors and claimants to update information in the claimant's electronic folder or vendor database.
- Update state vendor files.
- Monitor multiple printers' operations for malfunctions.
- Sort documents appropriately according to their designated locations.
- Operations and maintenance of the postage meter machine.
