Packaging SupervisorThe Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing packaging operations to ensure products are filled, packaged, and prepared for distribution according to company quality, safety, and production standards. This role manages daily packaging activities, monitors equipment operations, leads production teams, drives productivity, ensures compliance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The Packaging Supervisor will provide leadership in coordinating workflow, managing employee performance, maintaining operational efficiency, supporting inventory accuracy, and promoting a culture focused on safety, quality, productivity, and compliance.Shift openings:Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AMResponsibilities:Ensure employees follow safety procedures and properly utilize required PPELead, coach, mentor, and develop packaging team members to achieve production goalsMonitor production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity standards are metDocument production output and employee performance accuratelyManage employee performance and address issues when necessaryCommunicate equipment, machinery, and material concerns to maintenance teams to reduce downtimeEnsure compliance with cGMP, HACCP, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsPromote workplace safety, product quality, and continuous improvement initiativesReview production schedules and adjust staffing resources based on operational needsCoordinate workflow and staffing to maximize productivitySupport inventory teams with discrepancy investigations and reconciliationMaintain accurate production records, reports, and documentationPerform additional duties and projects as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience as a Packaging Supervisor or similar leadership role in manufacturing, packaging, or production environmentStrong understanding of packaging operations, manufacturing processes, and production workflowsAbility to manage priorities, delegate tasks, and lead teams effectivelyStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience managing workforce performance and production activitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with production reporting and data entry systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and quality standardsTechnical skills:Packaging operations managementProduction scheduling and workforce coordinationEmployee supervision and performance managementInventory control and reconciliation supportcGMP complianceHACCP complianceFood safety standardsProduction reporting and documentationMicrosoft Office SuiteData entry and production systemsWork environment:Manufacturing and packaging production environmentLeadership role overseeing packaging personnel and daily operationsFast-paced environment requiring strong organizational and decision-making skillsFrequent collaboration with production, maintenance, inventory, and quality teamsStrong focus on safety, quality, compliance, and productivityCompensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
