Work Environment

The therapy sessions are conducted onsite at our modern outpatient clinic, which is fully equipped with state-of-the-art treatment modalities and technology. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical capabilities and functional limitations, creating tailored treatment plans that align with individual goals.
• Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities tailored to address geriatric-specific conditions.
• Regularly monitor and document the progress of each patient, making adjustments to treatment strategies as required to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and other allied healthcare practitioners, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques, home exercise programs, and preventative measures, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Design and implement effective fall prevention strategies that enhance safety for patients in assisted living environments.
• Stay informed on the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
• Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all patient interactions while striving to exceed the expectations of the care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on geriatric patients, many of whom are managing chronic conditions and navigating the changes that come with aging. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs) for efficient patient documentation and care management.

Preferred Experience
