We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Audit team to: Be responsible for the completion of compilation, review and audit engagements Examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies and applicable laws Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for client companies and prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements In-charge staff on client engagements and perform a first level review of staff assigned work Demonstrate the ability to efficiently research audit topics of intermediate complexity Assist in developing and coaching professional staff Help develop, build and manage client relationships Qualifications Strong understanding of audit and attest services Excellent written and verbal communication skills Client service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management Strong organizational skills and detail oriented Strong analytical, mathematical and critical thinking abilitiesShows ambition, drive, and takes initiative for all tasks Ability to multitask and handle several engagements at a time, while working independently Microsoft Office proficiency Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree, accounting preferred CPA or CPA candidate Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience required Experience with tax preparation and review services is a plus Additional This is a 60% in-office and 40% remote hybrid position in St Louis, MO.
