Human Resources Generalist

Hour Media is seeking an experienced and dependable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR needs of the organization and serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day Human Resources functions and provide support to employees and managers. Coordinate onboarding, and employee offboarding. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and employee questions. Assist with payroll-related processes and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date. Support employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns. Maintain and communicate updates to HR policies and procedures. Assist with compliance related to federal and state employment laws and regulations. Coordinate annual open enrollment and other employee benefit communications. Track and maintain employee leave, PTO, and other personnel records. Partner with management on employee issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience. Working knowledge of employment practices, employee relations, benefits, and HR administration. Experience with payroll/timekeeping systems. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
