SAP Solution Architect - Production Planning (Hybrid Houston, TX)

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PP Solution Architect / Functional Lead with 20+ years of SAP PP/MM expertise to support a large, global manufacturing organization. In this role, you will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning, Advanced ATP (aATP/ATP), and Materials Management (MM) processes, ensuring seamless integration across procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and order fulfillment. You will partner with cross functional teams to drive SAP transformation projects, improve manufacturing efficiency, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.

This is a 13-month contract role (with possible extensions), 40 hours/week, hybrid in Houston, TX.

This is a W2 role with Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP PP solutions (Material Master, BOM, Routings, Production Versions, Work Centers, Orders, MRP Live/Classic MRP).
• Configure and optimize SAP ATP/aATP (Product Availability Check, ABC, BOP, PAL, Release for Delivery).
• Lead SAP MM processes (Procurement, Inventory, GR/GI, Stock Transfers, Vendor Master, Material Valuation).
• Drive integration with SAP SD, MM, EWM, WM, QM, PM, TM, IBP, MES, SAP BTP Integration Suite, PI/PO, APIs, IDocs, OData.
• Conduct business process workshops, requirement gathering, functional/technical specification reviews, and testing (Unit, SIT, UAT).
• Execute cutover planning, go live, hypercare, and production support.
• Champion business process improvement, lean manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirement

• 20+ years of SAP PP/MM experience with deep manufacturing and supply chain knowledge.
• 3+ full lifecycle SAP implementations and 2+ S/4HANA migrations.
• Expertise in SAP PP, MM, ATP/aATP, MRP Live, Production Scheduling, and Capacity Planning.
• Strong integration knowledge across SAP modules and external systems.
• Proven leadership in global SAP transformation programs.

Compensation: $87/hr - $92/hr.
