Compliance Specialist

Venture Together, Inc. is a private non-profit organization that provides support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We offer residential, day, community habilitation, respite and employment services, an equestrian program as well as an integrated summer camp. JOB SUMMARY The Compliance Specialist supports the organization’s Corporate Compliance Program by assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of compliance activities designed to ensure adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and organizational policies governing OPWDD funded services. This role is responsible for conducting audits and monitoring activities, supporting investigations, tracking corrective action plans, analyzing compliance data, facilitating staff education, and promoting a culture of ethics, accountability, and regulatory compliance. The Compliance Specialist works collaboratively across departments to identify areas of risk, assess compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations, and support continuous quality improvement efforts. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, as well as knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks applicable to OPWDD service providers. The Compliance Specialist reports to the Chief Compliance and Quality Officer. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree Required Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in compliance, quality assurance, auditing, or regulatory oversight. Experience within OPWDD or Medicaid-funded services strongly preferred. Experience conducting audits, investigations, and compliance monitoring activities preferred.
