Director of Business Development

Business Development Manager / Director – Digital Services Location: Remote / Flexible Employment Type: Full-time About the Opportunity We’re looking for a results-driven business development professional to help grow a digital services business by building client relationships, identifying new opportunities and closing high-value engagements. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in selling digital agency services who can develop their own pipeline, navigate complex sales cycles and turn prospects into long-term clients. What You’ll Do Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, referrals and inbound leads. Manage the complete sales process, from initial prospecting and discovery through proposals, negotiations and closing. Build relationships with senior decision-makers and understand their business goals to recommend the right digital solutions. Sell services such as digital marketing, SEO, paid media, web design and development, digital strategy and marketing technology. Develop proposals, presentations and pricing strategies tailored to client needs. Build a strong pipeline, maintain accurate forecasts and consistently achieve revenue targets. Establish long-term client partnerships and identify opportunities for recurring engagements. Collaborate with internal strategy, marketing and delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to execution. What We’re Looking For 8+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within a digital agency or digital services environment. A proven track record of winning new clients and meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Experience selling high-value digital services engagements, including five-figure and six-figure contracts. Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation and closing skills. Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles and engaging senior-level stakeholders. Ability to build and maintain a healthy pipeline through self-generated opportunities and inbound leads. Excellent communication, relationship-building and commercial skills. A consultative, growth-oriented mindset with a focus on measurable business outcomes. What Success Looks Like Consistently achieving an annual new-business revenue target in the $1M–$3M range. Winning new agency clients and expanding the business’s market presence. Building a sustainable pipeline of qualified opportunities.
