Temp to Perm Compliance Auditor

We are seeking an experienced ComplianceAuditor to join a healthcare compliance team in Brooklyn, New York. TheCompliance Auditor will apply advanced regulatory knowledge and analyticaljudgment to conduct risk assessments, perform independent compliance audits,and support the development and execution of the annual compliance audit plan. This role is responsible for evaluatingcompliance with governmental, contractual, and regulatory requirements whileidentifying systemic risks and supporting effective, sustainable remediation. Compensation : $40-50 per hour Schedule Monday–Friday

8:30 AM–5:30PM

40 hours perweek Key Responsibilities Assist withenterprise-wide compliance risk assessments and contribute to thedevelopment and execution of the annual compliance audit plan. Design andimplement comprehensive, risk-based audit programs to assess compliancewith governmental, contractual, and regulatory requirements. Performindependent audits and monitoring activities in accordance with theapproved audit plan, including appropriate scope, testing, anddocumentation. Identify rootcauses and systemic compliance risks and clearly document observations andfindings with defensible supporting evidence. Analyze auditresults and communicate findings, conclusions, and recommendationseffectively to compliance leadership and operational stakeholders. Partner withoperational leaders to develop, monitor, and validate corrective actionplans to ensure timely and sustainable remediation. Monitor auditoutcomes and trends and report progress and residual risk to complianceleadership and governance committees as appropriate. Maintaincurrent knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and regulatoryguidance. Providetargeted compliance education and advisory support to management and otherstakeholders. Serve as acollaborative, accessible, and solution-oriented compliance resource. Conduct sitevisits at locations throughout the five boroughs of New York City,Westchester, and Long Island. UtilizeAI-assisted audit tools to support evidence collection, workflowmanagement, and report drafting. ConductAI-specific compliance audits to evaluate the accuracy and regulatoryalignment of operational reporting. Performadditional duties as assigned in support of Compliance Department goalsand responsibilities. Qualifications Bachelor'sdegree in Healthcare Administration, Political Science, Social Science, ora related field required. Minimum of 3years of healthcare audit experience, preferably within a health insuranceplan. Strongunderstanding of Medicare and Medicaid programs strongly preferred. In-depthknowledge of healthcare industry rules, regulations, guidelines, andcompliance requirements. Billing andcoding experience preferred. Stronganalytical, statistical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Exceptionalattention to detail with the ability to identify trends, risks, andcompliance issues. Strong writtenand verbal communication skills. Ability towork independently while collaborating effectively with operationaland compliance leadership.
