Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

Registered Nurse NICU

Day 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with weekends required (6 weekend shifts in a 6 week period, variable, self-scheduling).

Positions may float between units. Contracts are available for more than 13 weeks for interested candidates.

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license.
• 2+ years of NICU experience, with a preference for Level III experience.
• Must be comfortable with patient ratios of 1:2-4.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to neonates in a critical care environment.
• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient status and responses to treatments.
• Educate families on care and health needs of their infants.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
