Distribution Lead

Overview Position Overview This position is responsible for assisting the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor in coordinating material movement, both incoming and outbound, in all aspects of the Shipping/Receiving Dock and/or Distribution operations. Pay: $20.00/hr Shift: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Responsibilities Specific Responsibilities Assist in scheduling assignments, deliveries, and shipments. Coordinate material movement both incoming and outbound; to include loading and unloading trucks. Responsible for ensuring completion of all dock/warehouse paperwork such as inventory movements, inspection/cleaning logs, and forklift checks. Gather and communicate all information regarding inventory movements, manufacturing demands, shipped and received items. Maintain and update inventory management systems. Ensure end of shift duties and cleaning are performed. Train new employees. Work overtime as needed. General Responsibilities Pose no direct threat to health or safety of himself/herself, others, or property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation. Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements contained herein between assigned start and end times for work. Performs such individual assignments as management may direct. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications The Candidate Education, Experience, and Licenses High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years forklift/material handling experience within a manufacturing warehouse or distribution environment. Ability to operate all dock and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Must foster and display a positive attitude toward teamwork and professionalism. Demonstrate proficiency in RF programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven leadership skills including the ability to coach, assess, evaluate, develop, motivate, and empower others. Computer experience: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook Email. Experience with Warehouse ERP Systems. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Be involved in the development, implementation, and updating of health and safety plans and procedures. Maintain awareness and enforcement of health and safety practices and activities. Ensure job specific safety procedures are established and followed. Know and understand the cGMP and other regulatory compliance. Ensure proper labeling of finished product while completing all necessary paperwork/documentation as required. Maintain clean work environment at all times, including and not limited to hygiene practices. Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced is required. Actively participate in health and safety training programs and demonstrate competency based on training received. Make safety a priority in daily operations by actively participating in health and safety activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring adequate resources are provided, and providing suggestions for improvement to the health and safety program.
