Senior Accountant

Wrth USA is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support key accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgeting support, audit coordination, and process improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards, and supporting the Controller in achieving departmental objectives.

Key responsibilities include mentoring junior and staff accountants, posting payroll-related journal entries, ensuring adherence to company policies and confidentiality regulations, leading the full accounting cycle, preparing and submitting financial reports, supporting CAPEX reporting and analysis, implementing internal controls, preparing balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, supporting budget preparation and forecasting, assisting with fleet program administration, supporting mid-year and year-end intercompany reconciliations, coordinating internal and external audits, identifying process improvements, and leading special projects.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience working with ERP systems, strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, solid understanding of internal controls and financial processes, working knowledge of current tax regulations, strong verbal and written communication skills, high level of integrity, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
