We are seeking a talented and motivated Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney to join our Miami office . We are a well-established litigation firm recognized for providing exceptional representation to hospitals, physicians, healthcare systems, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare providers throughout Florida.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated, high-exposure litigation while receiving mentorship, professional development, and meaningful courtroom experience.

 

Responsibilities
-Manage a caseload of medical malpractice defense matters from inception through resolution.
-Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and dispositive motions.
-Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and medical experts.
-Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
-Analyze complex medical records and collaborate with expert witnesses.
-Develop litigation strategy and provide thoughtful case evaluations.
-Communicate regularly with clients, insurers, and healthcare professionals.

 

Qualifications
-J.D. from an accredited law school.
-Active membership in the Florida Bar.
-3+ years of litigation experience, with medical malpractice defense experience strongly preferred.
-Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
-Experience taking and defending depositions.
-Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
-Ability to independently manage files while collaborating within a team-oriented environment.
