JOB DESCRIPTION:
Insight Global's client is a global aerospace manufacturer. The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations for their Wheels division in Barberton, Ohio, partnering closely with supervisors, employees, and plant leadership. This role focuses on employee relations, recruiting support, onboarding, HR administration, and ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures. This is an on-site role requiring regular presence on the production floor and strong relationship‐building skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2-7 years of experience within HR and adjacent roles (generalist, coordinator, etc.)
- 2+ years in relevant environment such as manufacturing, industrial, or operations‐heavy
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related
- Recruiting experience (specifically with hourly roles preferred)
- Familiarity with Ohio employment law such as FMLA, workers' comp, etc.
- Able to work fully onsite M-F
- Flexible to come in outside of normal business hours for things like investigations on other shifts when needed
