Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental and emotional health needs effectively.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in alignment with each client’s goals, ensuring cultural competence and sensitivity.

• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy, utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support for clients experiencing acute psychological distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele ranging from children and adolescents to adults. Many of our clients come to us facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is crucial in creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their feelings, set goals for change, and implement coping strategies that lead to improved mental health. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in New York.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of three years of experience in a related mental health counseling role is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in community health settings, as well as those familiar with telehealth practices and technology.
