At the discretion of the hiring manager, the role may be based out of Moline, IL.Your ResponsibilitiesAs an HR Representative for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, you will:Support a variety of Human Resources processes at the unit/site level by applying sound judgment, HR knowledge, and relevant experienceProvide entry-level HR analysis, data support, and day-to-day assistance to managers, employees, and business partnersCollect, maintain, analyze, and deliver HR data and insights to support business decisions, workforce planning, and operational needsBuild effective relationships with business partners by providing timely and proactive guidance, support, and follow-through on HR-related mattersSupport and facilitate early talent programs, including interns, part-time students, and development program participantsPartner with Talent Acquisition and support the business through the full recruitment processAssist managers in understanding and applying key HR practices, Deere HR policies, the code of conduct, talent planning, Global Performance Management, employee development, coaching, and team assimilation processesVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this positionWhat Skills You Need1+ year of experience in HR processes such as recruiting/staffing, operations, benefits, employee programsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence without authority and collaborate with all levels of leadership and functionsExperienced in operating within ambiguity and ability to drive results amidst competing prioritiesCollaborative team player with a strong drive to create a positive John Deere employee experienceWhat Makes You Stand OutExperience leveraging HR People Tools (we use Talent Central)Knowledge and experience providing guidance and coaching to employees and managers including coaching, performance, and disciplinary situationsTechnology skills including Excel, PowerBI, Power Apps, etc.Experience working with tech talent or in the tech industryHR certification (i.e. SHRM, HRCI)EducationIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent LevelWhat You'll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
