Business Development Representative

A growing, founder-led environmental consulting firm based in Orange County is adding a business development hire to help expand its client base across the Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire markets. The company provides hazardous materials, environmental health and safety, and laboratory consulting services to commercial real estate owners, contractors, restoration companies, and property managers. This is a ground floor opportunity with direct access to ownership and no established sales playbook to follow, so the right person will build their own process and territory from the ground up. Required Qualifications 2-3+ years of business development, outside sales, or client relationship management experience Comfortable with a primarily office-based routine that still includes regular client-facing time (lunches, site visits, networking events) Self-starter who can build a process without an established playbook Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the regional territory as needed Environmental industry experience is not required Bachelor's degree preferred, not required Key Responsibilities Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients Develop new client relationships across commercial real estate, construction, restoration, property management, and related industries Meet regularly with clients and prospects through lunches, site visits, and networking events Travel throughout the regional territory to support business development effortsFollow up consistently with prospects and help convert relationships into project opportunities Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams as new opportunities develop Commission based on new business generated, uncapped upside #J-18808-Ljbffr Career Movement
