This role is responsible for month end close, analyzing profit and loss accounts, leading and coaching a team, and improving processes across the accounting department.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS· Month end Close responsibilitieso Calculate and post and/or review journals related to:§ Revenue§ Recurring Expenses§ Accounts Payable§ Accounts Receivableo Collaborate with Finance to prepare monthly allocations for cross-utilized contractso Collaborate with Operations, Finance, IT, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable teams to align and control transaction coding· Analyze Profit & Loss Accounts for missing items and for unusual activityo Perform monthly reviews of key/volatile expense accounts that lead to timely reclassifications, accruals, and/or Pass-Through Billingo Complete Ad hoc projects to help enhance Financial Reporting integrity· Develop and coach off-shore team of 5-6 people· Develop documented and efficient processes and controls QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES4+ years of financial management/accounting experience BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (Masters is a plus)Exceptional high technical skills with a required proficiency in excel and PowerPointStrong communicatorHands-on experience with financial and statistical softwareExpertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)Familiarity with databases, SQL, and advanced modelingAbility to present financial data using detailed reports and chartsFamiliarity with PowerBi is a plusRelevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus "Unifi is committed to equal opportunity employment regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability or veteran status."
