Dayshift 6am - 2:30pm

$22-24/hr DOE

Are you a skilled welder with a passion for precision and quality craftsmanship? A local manufacturing facility is seeking a Welder to join their team. This position involves MIG welding metal parts and structures according to blueprints and specifications in a fast-paced environment. If you're detail-oriented and committed to safety and excellence, this could be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding operations on steel, aluminum, or other metals
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools
  • Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards
  • Repair or rework defective welds as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (welding certification or vocational training preferred)
  • 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
  • Proficiency with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding processes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Dependable with reliable attendance and good communication skills
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a physically demanding environment
  • Experience with robotic welding systems (preferred)
  • Fabrication or fitting experience (preferred)
  • Ability to operate additional equipment such as press brake, plasma cutter, grinders, etc. (preferred)
