REGISTERED NURSE- University Hospital - Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)/ Ketamine Clinic Responsibilities: Provide expert nursing care to Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Ketamine patients. Conduct and document Outpatient ECT Assessments and work in the ECT PACU. Required Qualifications: Current RN license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan. ACLS / PALS Certification (Required within 3 months of hire) Experience in the utilization of Welle, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), or NAPPI. Minimum of 1 year of recent psychiatric nursing experience. Recent ECT nursing experience within the last year. Demonstrated ability to anticipate the clinical care needs of complex patients. Demonstrated ability to anticipate the clinical care needs of psychiatric complex patients. Desired Qualifications: BSN prepared. Demonstrated knowledge of cognitive behavioral treatment of depression and other psychiatric disorders. Demonstrated excellent attendance as evidenced by performance and evaluation. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work closely and collaborate with all team members. Must reflect a professional appearance and demeanor. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from LevelA to LevelF. Work Schedule: 0.8FTE32 hours per week.
