Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients' mental health concerns, which will inform clinical diagnoses and lead to the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities to provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, while adapting your approach based on the evolving goals and needs of each client.

• Actively engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate support to clients undergoing acute mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning as necessary.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring that treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments are accurately documented.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.

• Provide education to clients and their families regarding mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

Qualifications\n

• Current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in New York State.

• Minimum of two years of related experience in a clinical or counseling setting.
