Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, compassionately guiding them through each step
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-definition diagnostic images
• Ensure the operational readiness of imaging equipment and promptly report any malfunctions
• Diligently document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated with developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent board
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques as well as patient positioning
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
