Shop Foreman

Champion Coach is a family-owned motorcoach company seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our diesel maintenance team in Greenville, SC. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team of diesel technicians in all aspects of motorcoach and heavy vehicle repair/maintenance Oversee shop workflow, assign work orders, and ensure timely completion of repairs Perform hands-on diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, A/C systems, brakes, emissions, air systems, and other major vehicle components Maintain high standards for safety, facility cleanliness, and regulatory compliance (including DOT) Mentor technicians, provide training, and support technical development Manage parts inventory, tools, and shop resources efficiently Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot complex issues Collaborate with management on scheduling, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications: Technical school graduate or equivalent education, training, and experience Minimum 5+ years of medium/heavy truck or motorcoach diesel repair experience in a shop environment (leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred) ASE Certification preferred Strong knowledge of A/C systems, brake systems, emission systems, air systems, and diesel engine diagnostics/troubleshooting Experience with computerized diagnostics and major vehicle systems Previous fleet maintenance experience required Must have own tools Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required Strong leadership, decision-making, and team-building skills Basic computer skills with ability to use diagnostic programs Must pass DOT pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check Apply today and join a company that values excellence, teamwork, and long-term growth.
