Payroll Specialist

Position Summary The Payroll Specialist is a vital member of our finance team, responsible for delivering accuracy and excellence in both accounts payable and payroll operations. Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing & Administration Process weekly and biweekly payrolls for four organizational entities. Maintain accurate payroll records including new hires, terminations, rate changes, tax updates, garnishments, deductions, and direct deposits. Review and validate timekeeping data across multiple systems, ensuring alignment with state and federal labor laws. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing. Proficiency in accounting and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, CHS) and MS Excel, UKG experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills for working with vendors, employees, and internal teams. Preferred Skills & Attributes Solid understanding of accounting and payroll principles. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
