We are hiring a Diesel Mechanic to support our client's growing fleet of vehicles in New Orleans.

Pay: $25/hour to $31.00/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with every other Saturday.

Responsibilities:

Perform Preventive Maintenance on Garbage trucks
Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs per manufacturer standards
Follow all safety procedures and use PPE
Document all work performed
Communicate with supervisors and operators
Maintain tools and work areas

Qualifications:

3 years of experience as a Diesel mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
A CDL is a plus, with incentives and training provided.
