Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their unique emotional and psychological needs.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect developmental considerations and family dynamics, enabling effective support for patients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy to address issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavior disorders.

• Engage in family therapy sessions to promote a healthy family dynamic and equip caregivers with strategies to support their children effectively.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care that addresses physical, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young clients.

• Educate parents and family members about mental health conditions, therapeutic processes, and community resources available for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing training to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health through continuous education and networking opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents experiencing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Our approach is tailored to meet the unique developmental needs of young clients, considering their emotional, educational, and familial contexts. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
