Registered Nurse for Hospice Visits BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in the North Jersey Hospice office, located in North Bergen, NJ. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in all of North Jersey, including Essex, Union, Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Middlesex, and Somerset counties. 2 weekends a month required Minimum of 2 weekdays availability required 1-2 holidays per year mandatory No on‑call required Must be willing to cover any county‑assignments, which will vary RN's must be comfortable with hospice admissions Weekly pay Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: RN $50–$52 per hour This is a visiting position—reliable transportation needed Bilingual Spanish a plus Prior home care and/or hospice experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care. Monitoring clients' conditions and reporting changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager. Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders. Performing client assessments as necessary. Occasional after‑hours and/or weekend on‑call duties. Qualifications A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in NJ. A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience. Prior home care and/or hospice experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred. Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
