Description

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a long-term care nursing facility, requiring an active NY Single State license and 1+ year of experience.

Details

• Long-term care/nursing home unit with a 1:10 patient ratio
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required, if needed
• EPIC charting experience required
• May be required to float within skillset

Requirements

• Active New York Single State LPN license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Pending license not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• LTAC experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Previous charge experience required

Additional Information

• Provide care including feeding tube management, foley catheter insertion, medication administration, oxygen administration, and skin/hygiene care
• Communicate patient status changes to RN/MD and monitor vital signs
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Care for young adult, middle adult, and older adult populations
• Scrub color: any combination of navy blue and white
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Returning staff must have a 6-month system-wide break in service
• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested RTO will not be considered
