** Professional Search Group OC ** is partnering with a fast-paced manufacturing client in Orange County to identify an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AP experience who thrives in a high-volume environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience , preferably within manufacturing, distribution, or similar high-volume industries.
** Accounts Payable ** Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform 3-way matching (purchase orders, invoices, and receipts)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain AP records and ensure proper documentation
- Assist with weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and account inquiries
- Support month-end closing activities and AP reporting
- Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams to ensure smooth workflow
** Accounts Payable ** Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience required
- Manufacturing or high-volume invoice processing experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong understanding of PO matching and invoice reconciliation
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
