Accounts Payable Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an immediate need for a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist. Position duration is 3-4+ months, full time, standard business operating hours Monday-Friday. Role is onsite. Only local applicants will be considered. Pay $23-$27 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Communicate with vendors, internal departments to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions
- Provide support for audits and other financial reviews.
- Proven experience in accounts payable preferably in banking/financial services.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
