Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and review patients’ medical histories to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies to accurately diagnose health conditions.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices within family medicine.
• Develop individualized care plans for both acute and chronic conditions and prescribe necessary medications.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and prevention strategies.
• Advocate for patients’ health and wellness and coordinate necessary referrals to specialists and community services.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care progress and optimize health outcomes.
• Maintain currency with medical developments through continuous education, workshops, and professional resources.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.

• Active state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in a family health clinic or comparable setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
