The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting work-life balance for our team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical exams, evaluate patients' health histories, and assess medical records to ensure informed medical decisions.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies, aiding in the diagnosis of health conditions.
• Diagnose and address various illnesses within the family medicine framework, providing tailored treatment plans that consider each patient's unique circumstances.
• Prescribe necessary medications and manage prescriptions, monitoring patient responses and making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Assist in therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety while adhering to best practices.
• Educate patients and their families regarding disease management, preventive healthcare measures, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall health.
• Document and maintain organized patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitating continuity of care.
• Encourage preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices among patients through education and personalized health strategies.
• Stay abreast of advancements in medical knowledge and technology, pursuing ongoing professional development to elevate the standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to serve a diverse patient population within the family medicine spectrum. Patients range from children to older adults, presenting with a variety of health concerns. You will engage with patients during varied clinical scenarios, fostering an empathetic and supportive atmosphere conducive to healing and education.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant to practice in New York.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience, ideally within a family health clinic or similar healthcare environment.
• Strong foundational knowledge in family medicine and extensive clinical experience in primary care settings.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• A solid ethical foundation and commitment to providing patient-centered care.

• Possession of a DEA number for prescribing controlled medications.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience.
