Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments to evaluate patients' overall health status.

• Administer immunizations and vaccinations according to CDC guidelines to minimize communicable diseases in the school setting.
• Prescribe medications as necessary, leveraging evidence-based practices to ensure effective treatment protocols.
• Engage in health promotion activities, providing counseling to students and families on lifestyle changes, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging studies) to assist in clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with teachers, school nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and address health-related barriers to learning.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
