Accounts Receivable Specialist

We have an immediate need for a Direct Hire Accounts Receivable Specialist in High Point, NC. What We're Looking For Experience: Background in accounts receivable, accounting support, billing, data entry, customer service, or a related administrative role. Communication Skills: Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills with comfort calling customers regarding past-due balances. Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, lookups, basic pivot tables). Experience with an ERP or accounting system is preferred. Core Strengths: Exceptional organizational skills,attention to detail, and a talent for researching and resolving discrepancies. Work Ethic: Ability to learn quickly, take direction, work independently, and adapt smoothly in a growing, fast-paced environment. salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities What You'll Do Prepare and send accurate customer invoices on time. Apply customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card payments. Review accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past-due balances by phone and email. Process new customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer records. Research and resolve short payments, billing disputes, unapplied cash, and other account discrepancies. Send customer statements and respond to billing and payment questions. Assist with AR reconciliations, aging reports, and month-end activities. Provide backup accounts payable support as needed, including entering vendor bills and matching invoices to purchase orders. Maintain accurate records while supporting multiple business entities.
