Accounting Coordinator

This is a 100% on-site position located in Cleveland, Ohio. Remote and hybrid work are not available. Approximately 20–25 hours per week Relocation assistance is not provided Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Cleveland or be willing to self-relocate Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship About the Role Comfort Systems USA Ohio is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join our Cleveland team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting administration who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and supporting a busy team. You’ll help keep our day-to-day accounting and project administration running smoothly by processing invoices and payments, maintaining accurate records, supporting job costing and billing activities, and working with vendors and internal teams. What You’ll Do Process accounts payable invoices and reconcile vendor statements Apply customer payments and support accounts receivable activities Assist with payment processing and vendor account administration Create and maintain job budgets and project-related financial records Support job costing, customer billing, and project documentation Set up and maintain vendor records, including tax and ACH information Maintain accurate information in ERP and accounting systems Organize accounting, project, and contract documentation Provide day-to-day administrative support to accounting and operations teams What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Two or more years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting administration Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Preferred Experience: Construction, mechanical contracting, or project-based accounting Job costing or project billing ERP or accounting systems, including COINS or similar software Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field Compensation & Schedule Position Type: Part-Time Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours per week Pay Range: $21.00–$27.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience Why Join Comfort Systems USA Ohio?
