Job Description:
- Perform monthly balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare, review, and post monthly journal entries with supporting documentation and schedules.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Accounts Payable function.
- Review accounts payable activity for accuracy, proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Partner with Finance leadership to support the monthly accounts payable and month-end close process.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns and related reporting requirements.
- Coordinate specialized vendor, benefit, and third-party payment reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist with payroll processing, reconciliations, and reporting activities.
- Support annual audits, tax filings, including 1099 preparation and issuance, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
