Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Site Contracts Administrator . Reporting to the Project Delivery Group , you will be assigned to support a project in Valmy, NV , but your home office location will be Salt Lake City, UT .

Qualifications:

• Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills
• Preferred associate's or bachelor’ degree in business administration, management and supervision, accounting, engineering, or relevant discipline
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Contractual change control relating to cost and time
• Programme monitoring and progress meetings
• Payment certification and cash flow forecast
• Claims administration
• Develop, process and implement contractual documents and change notices in a timely manner
• Administrate contracts in accordance with general requirements of contractual terms and conditions
• Maintain various contract registers and as per project specific instructions
• Drive the deliverables and inputs as required from the quantity surveyors
• Management of bonds/guarantees
• Close-out

You bring to the role:

• Extensive experience in an EPCM project environment on capital projects specifically  in the administration of construction and services contracts.
• Contracts/Legal relating training.
• Experience with drafting and execution of commercial terms and conditions and an  understanding of accompanying legal implications.
• Management skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Experience working on large construction sites.
• Excellent understanding of procurement processes and corporate governance  principles
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be highly regarded
• Willingness to travel and work onsite (including remote locations)
• Previous co-op or internship experience is an asset

• Perform assignments related to your sector
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
