Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Caledonia seeking CMM Programmers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and validate CMM inspection routines for manufactured components.
• Interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T specifications, and CAD models to create accurate CMM programs.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections using CMM.
• Analyze measurement data, generate reports, and communicate results to engineering and production teams.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CMM equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to optimize part designs for manufacturability and inspectability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
• Demonstrated expertise in CMM programming languages (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Practical experience in operating and troubleshooting various CMM equipment.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis for quality improvement.
