Human Resources Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a proactive HR Coordinator to support employee relations and safety initiatives in a fast‑paced marine manufacturing environment. This role serves as a key liaison between employees, HR leadership, and EHS teams to promote a positive, compliant, and productive workplace. This is a six month contract with ample opportunity to be hired on permanently. Please note that the working environment is a shipyard. The HR office is an air conditioned trailer. The HR Coordinator must be comfortable working at a shipyard. Base pay range $28.00/hr - $32.00/hr Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and day‑to‑day support Partner with EHS teams to reinforce safety programs and regulatory compliance Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and sensitive HR matters Address and resolve employee conflicts using sound judgment and best practices Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on HR initiatives and workforce needs Qualifications 1+ years of HR or employee relations experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills Working knowledge of workplace safety/EHS practices High attention to detail with demonstrated discretion and professionalism Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally Able to maintain strict confidentiality Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Contract Job Function Human Resources, Administrative, and General Business Industries Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, and Boilers, Tanks, and Shipping Container Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr 360X Staffing
