Title: ServiceNow Developer (Subcontract for Ark Technology Consultants)

ServiceNow Developer

In this role, the ServiceNow Developer will join the Client’s IT Application team and will be responsible for developing and improving the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, Discovery, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Event Management, CMDB, Service Mapping, Asset Management, and Orchestration. In addition, this role will be working with the Service Desk Team to implement new workflows and requests to help enhance the ServiceNow offering (including automation & integration). This individual is expected to operate at a senior level and own the areas listed below, which includes being able to clearly present and communicate development solutions, architecture, security compliance, and access entitlement for the ServiceNow development area of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

·      Proven skills in creating and managing service catalogs, record producers/fulfillers, order guides, and UI Pages while working extensively on implementation, customization, and maintenance of CSM modules, such as case management, incident, problem, knowledge management, and customer service catalog in ServiceNow.

·      Well-versed in designing, managing, and analyzing CMDB (Configuration Management) configuration items and their integrations.

·      Expertise in scripting using JavaScript and Discovery in ServiceNow and creating reports and email notifications.

·      Demonstrated value-added skills in creating and managing Service Catalogs, Record Producers, Order Guides, and UI Pages, as well as designing and developing custom applications in the ServiceNow environment.

·      Talent in developing Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, SLA, and Import Sets.

·      Record of coordinating extensively on LDAP integrations with a good understanding of Integration with these varieties of protocols, such as SOAP and REST APIs.

·      Excellent record of developing scoped applications by leveraging the OOB tables and functionalities, like creating an interaction ticket or CAL Ticket from the portal.

·      Advanced expertise in providing the fulfiller functionalities on the portal to update the incidents or tasks for the service desk users.

·      A solid history of adding fields to the metrics capture of ServiceNow Performance Analytics, and creating roles and groups through dashboards, analytics, and time charts.

·      Performance history of working on ITSM modules, like Incident/problem/change request.

·      Excel at maintaining and growing data held within ServiceNow, such as our users, locations, configuration items, and service catalog items.

·      Expert in monitoring the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for managing project scope, requirement definition, resource management, change management, analysis, work schedules, project status reporting, project coordination, and conflict resolution.

·      Credible history of managing processes, delivering technology and IT service management solutions, overseeing ITIL processes, and customizing and configuring ITSM tools.

·      Excellent record of working on SaaS (Software as a Service) based tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) while focusing on implementing ITIL processes.

·      Leveraged UI/UX tools and methodologies to create intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces for end-users, improving overall user satisfaction.

·      Performed day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow system, including making approved changes to processes and workflows in ITSM, CSM, ITOM, and GRC modules.

·      Exposure to ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools, like Discovery and Orchestration, and other applications, such as Service Watch, GRC, etc.

·      Hands-on experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance application (GRC).

·      Proven expertise in implementing ESM solutions aligned to GetHelp epic capabilities, integrating ITSM, HRSD, and Risk modules with unified portals and automated workflows.

·      Exercised leadership skills by submitting ServiceNow documentation and training.

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and requirements:

·               Minimum of five (5) years of extensive experience in ServiceNow development, maintenance, implementation, and administration, and hands-on expertise in utilizing countless ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, GRC, Discovery, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Event Management, CMDB, Service Mapping, Asset Management, and Orchestration.

·               Track record of developing UI Appearance for Service Catalog Requests and monitoring, modifying, and publishing service catalog workflows with approvals. Skillful at performing project scoping, organizing processes, and managing activities, including business and IT Requirements.

·               Notable success in developing the ServiceNow platform, including creating and customizing Incident, Request, Service Change, Service Level, Knowledge, and Configuration (CMDB) applications and processes.

·               Able to write / manage custom scripts / tables / forms, as well as maintain custom work with source control.

·               Able to document work performed for cross-pollination and repeatability.

·               Ability to execute development requirements based upon functional and technical requirements.

·               Bachelor's degree in IS or equivalent.

·               Motivated and energetic team player.

·               Able to work independently and own tasks to completion.

·               Ability to obtain and maintain a United States (US) Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Security Clearance.

The following skills are nice to have and would make a candidate who fulfils the above stand out even more:

·      Active TS/SCI Security clearance

·      Experience developing ServiceNow with Tanium connector.

·      Experience with security compliance regarding NIST and CMMC.

·      Experience with writing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).

·      Experience in Data migration projects using SQL Loader, PL/SQL programming, coding Procedures, triggers, and functions.

·      Experience in Export, Import, and SQL Loader Utilities and RDBMS development, including Oracle SQL, PL/SQL database backend programming with stored procedures, Functions, Packages, Forms, and reports.

·      Competent experience and knowledge with awareness of Active Directory RBAC, M365, Azure, or AWS cloud-based environments and solutions a plus.
