Director of Human Resources Clifton, NJ (On-Site)$130,000 base Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead all HR operations for a fast-growing organization relocating its corporate headquarters to Clifton, NJ. You will run HR like a business unit - strategy, compliance, culture, people systems, and leadership development included. Responsibilities:
- : Lead and manage a team of 7 HR professionals
- Own all employee relations, compliance, and performance management
- Create scalable people systems and workflows
- Oversee recruiting operations in partnership with leadership
- Manage onboarding, training, and employee development
- Lead policy creation and HR infrastructure build-out
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Build culture and accountability
- Serve as advisor to executives on employee strategy
- Senior HR leadership experience (director-level or above)
- Proven experience managing HR teams
- Strong compliance and labor law knowledge
- Experience supporting rapid company growth
- Excellent leadership and communication
- Systems thinker
- Comfortable making tough HR calls
- Experience working with executive leadership
