This role works closely with the chefs and kitchen team to oversee expo operations, maintain sanitation standards, assist with food preparation for events and parties, manage inventory and ordering, and provide hands‑on support wherever needed in the kitchen. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, fast‑paced, and thrives in a team‑oriented environment. Essential Responsibilities Kitchen Operations Manage and oversee daily expo operations to ensure accurate, timely, and high‑quality food service (sidework, stocking, etc); Scheduling expos Coordinate communication between front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams during service Support kitchen workflow and assist chefs during busy shifts and peak periods Ensure all food is prepared and plated according to company standards Cleanliness & Sanitation Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, organization, and sanitation Ensure compliance with health department regulations and food safety standards Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure completion of daily and weekly cleaning tasks Assist in maintaining equipment cleanliness and kitchen organization Inventory & Ordering Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to leadership Help receive and organize deliveries Minimize waste through proper storage, rotation, and inventory practices Event & Party Preparation Assist with preparation and coordination of party and catering food orders Ensure banquet and event food is prepared accurately and on schedule Work alongside chefs to support prep execution for large events and busy weekends Team Support & Leadership Help train and reinforce kitchen procedures and expectations Promote teamwork, urgency, and a positive kitchen culture Step into various kitchen roles as needed to support operations Qualifications Previous restaurant kitchen experience required Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Traits Strong sense of urgency Team‑oriented attitude Reliable and dependable Detail‑oriented and organized Ability to multitask under pressure Positive leadership approach Spanish speaking a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay - $65k Health benefits - Health, Dental, Vision - Corbin can review if interested Paid time off - 12 days PTO Fringe Benefits Meal discounts Growth opportunities within the company Schedule Wednesday‑Sunday 10am-8pm Expeditor during lunch and dinner volume Assist in other areas during down times Next Steps Meet with Tom & Aimee to review expectations Orientation Training with Sammy/Dave - 1 week #J-18808-Ljbffr Buckandhoneys
